At Marshall Flight Instruction, my mission is to provide high-quality flight instruction to aspiring pilots, creating a safe and supportive learning environment for students of all backgrounds. Most anyone can become a pilot with the right training and motivation, be it for recreational flying or in furtherance of a career in aviation. Learning to fly is no small thing, it can seem overly confusing and complicated, but with the right approach each flight can be fun, safe, informative, and rewarding. I provide flight instruction which is uncompromised in quality while maintaining the free and easy feel associated with the magic of flight. My name is Brandon Marshall Hennen, I am a current Flight Instructor, Ground Instructor, and Commercial Pilot. Building your proficiency as a pilot is my first priority. It is well known in the aviation community that there are two types of flight instructors: time builders and passionate instructors. Time builders are the flight instructors who are focused primarily on building flight time, not teaching. Time builders are often not passionate about giving instruction, instead using it as a means to an end: an airline job. The result is dispassionate and impersonal instruction. The other type is the dedicated, passionate instructor. Passionate instructors may have the secondary goal of building hours for another job in the industry, but they are committed first and foremost to the students and to being the best instructors they can be. As a dedicated flight instructor, I put my responsibility as an instructor above all else, and am constantly looking for ways to improve the learning experience for you, the student. I believe that if you are paying for the services of a flight instructor, you should feel that there is no other purpose for that time than making you the best pilot you can be.
Located on the southwest ramp of the Orlando Sanford International Airport, flight instruction will be given using airplanes provided by the Orlando Sanford Flying Club. Membership with the club is required for flight training and solo flight, see FAQs for details. With seven Cessna 172 airplanes available for use, you can say goodbye to gaps in flight training due to aircraft maintenance or repair. The club maintains a fleet of aircraft that are regularly inspected and serviced to ensure the highest level of safety. In addition, the aircraft rental rate is based on tach time, reducing overall cost of airplane rental. Having trained with the club myself, I can attest to the fact that flight training here is one of the most affordable options available. The planes are equipped with modern avionics and are perfect for both training and pleasure flying.
